black chicken soup (this may gross you out)

last weekend while i was feeling sick i asked my mom to make me chicken soup
with a black (silkie) chicken. since the soup has to be slow cooked, she
brought it over the following evening. (what a mom -- it was a special order
and a delivery!) besides the chicken head, the feet are my favorite part of
a chicken, especially on a silkie chicken because it has such a unique gamey
taste.

unfortunately my mom removed the chicken heads from the soup because
she said she didn't want to scare jason. wtf? i told her i definitely want
the heads next time!
