Wow, the LATimes.com homepage photo for their story "LAPD cleared in toddler's death" is so tasteless, it may have forever tarnished my view of our new city attorney. While I understand that Carmen Trutanich believed that the city was not at fault for the child's death, and in his mind, the officer involved was a hero, it's still completely disgusting to high-five a lawyer in celebration about this case. A little girl died.

I don't know what this band sounds like, but I like them already. Taken in the parking lot of the 9000 Sunset building across from The Roxy, after the My Chem show.

I may be sick, but we still managed to have a little party for LeLu's birthday, especially since his grandma is in town to visit.
